On Your First Visit
Next you will have a consultation with Dr. Snyder to discuss your health-related challenges, concerns, as well as potential care options. Your first visit is designed for Dr. Snyder to learn more about you, your health challenge and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care meet your goals.
After your consultation on your first visit, Dr. Snyder will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your nervous system, your ability to turn and bend as well as other neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations.
Please refrain from physical exercise for 2 hours prior to the exam, the use of any tobacco products, excessive caffeine, as well as medication that may mask pain or inflammation.
Your specific condition may require us to refer you for x-rays to get a full evaluation of your spine. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist the doctor in developing the most effective care plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignment and spinal decay for themselves.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed and the doctor has taken the time to review everything about you, Dr. Snyder will relate his findings to you to answer the three most popular questions:
- Can chiropractic care help me?
- What do you recommend that I do to get better?
- How much is it going to cost and what are my payment options?
After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Snyder will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. If Dr. Snyder believes we can help you, we will recommend a plan for care.
We request you complete a health history. This information provides us with specific information about yourself and your health challenge.
Because this is a special time to learn more about your specific needs, please plan on one-hour.
