Usain Bolt’s Olympic Secret

Tonight is the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, and all the talk is about one man breaking records in track and Field. The fastest man who has ever lived is entering his last Olympics. His goal is to win three more medals. He has never lost a 100 meter final at the Olympics or world Championships. This consistency is amazing given the extreme demands of his sport. What’s his secret?

He sees a #chiropractor  to make sure everything is in alignment before he blasts off the line. In interviews he reports a history of scoliosis (or curvature of the spine). With chiropractic, proper training and an intense desire to win he has dominated a very competitive sport for years. Usain Bolt says “When I was younger, the #scoliosis   wasn’t really a problem. But you grow and it gets worse. My spine was really curved bad. The early part of my career, when we didn’t really know much about it, it really hampered me because I got injured every year. I’ve worked hard over the years. I’ve been injured and I’ve worked hard through it, and I’ve made it. As long as I’m in great shape, nobody beats me, for sure.”

Sprinters get injured frequently. Because of the ballistic forces involved in their sport, they tear muscles and tend to wrench their spines out of place. It’s a young man’s sport. Good sprinters may last a year or two before they reach their peak and leave sprinting forever. Mr. Bolt is almost 30. He’s heading for his last Olympics. He’s beating the odds and competing at the highest levels with chiropractic!

If your “track record” is not as good as Mr. Bolt’s, or you’d just like to be and stay healthy, call your family chiropractor and schedule a wellness checkup. www.SnyderFamilyChiro.com
