What You Need to Know

A Guide for New Patients

Laying the Foundation for Total Health

Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.

There are three general phases of chiropractic care:

Phase 1

Relief Care

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 2 to 3 times per week for 4 to 12 weeks.

Phase 2

Corrective/
Restorative Care

During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care 4 to 8 times per month for 6 to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.

Phase 3

Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor
1 to 4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.

First Visit Insights

What You Can Expect on Day One

During your first visit to Snyder Family Chiropractic, our focus is on getting to know you and understanding your health concerns. We’ll start with a thorough consultation to discuss your symptoms, medical history, and wellness goals.
Next, a comprehensive physical examination will help us assess your posture, spinal alignment, and areas of discomfort. If necessary, we may recommend imaging tests to get a clearer picture of your condition.
Once we have all the information, we’ll work with you to create a personalized care plan designed to address your specific needs and pave the way for lasting relief and wellness. Your comfort is our priority, so feel free to ask any questions along the way!

Payment Options

We believe in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets.

Insurance

We accept auto accident, workers compensation, personal injury and most health insurance plans, including Medicare. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge.

No Insurance

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged so there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.

Family Plans

Our focus at Snyder Family Chiropractic is to actively help you and your family take responsibility for your health, wellness, and disease management. We assist and guide you to take the time to care for the important people in your world: you and your family. To make adopting a wellness lifestyle simple and accessible, we provide financial options tailored to meet the needs of families.

Good Faith Estimates

You are entitled to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of your care costs. By law, healthcare providers must give an estimate for patients without insurance or not using insurance, covering the total expected cost of non-emergency services, including tests and procedures. You can request a written estimate at least 1 business day before your appointment. If your final bill is $400 more than the estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Remember to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

Dr. Snyder is extremely caring and thorough every visit. He is helping to give the Chiropractic community a good name. He is not like like some Chiropractors that think they can heal everything. My neurologist even agreed that he helped me immensely with my migraines.

Grateful to my chiropractor Dr. Snyder for restoring sensation to my fingers. As a healthcare provider, caring for others is my norm, but this time, it was his chiropractic care and advice that made all the difference for me. Thank you!
