Posture Correction

When we think of posture, most people picture sitting up straight—and while that’s part of it, posture correction is really about how your entire body holds itself up throughout the day.

Your posture affects how your spine aligns, how your muscles work, and how efficiently your body moves and breathes. If something’s off—even slightly—it can cause a ripple effect. That nagging neck pain, tight lower back, or constant fatigue? A lot of it ties back to how you’re sitting, standing, or sleeping.

Some common signs your posture may need attention:

  • Forward head (your ears aren’t stacked above your shoulders)
  • Rounded shoulders
  • One hip or shoulder higher than the other
  • Feeling stiff or achy after sitting for long periods

In chiropractic care, we don’t just say “sit up straighter.” We look at why your body is defaulting to that posture—what muscles are weak or overworked, where the joints are restricted, and how we can support change that actually lasts. It’s part hands-on work, part habit retraining.

You don’t need perfect posture. You just need posture that supports your body instead of stressing it.
